Play Groups

Oxford International School playgroup program is an extension of home. Children start their journey of exploration and discovery in our Playgroup program. Teachers help them apply their developing literacy and math skills through purposeful, planned learning experiences.

The teachers also adjust lesson plans to the children’s developmental levels. If a few children haven’t mastered the alphabet yet, the teachers adapt the lesson to ensure it meets all the children’s educational needs and builds on what they already know.

Children use a variety of interesting, hands-on learning and reading materials to make play more complex and challenging. Their play also becomes more social and cooperative as they build their social skills, make friends and learn to collaborate.

Our LKG Program empowers students towards more focused learning, while getting them ready for what’s next. The fun, engaging curriculum allows children to explore and discover their interests while learning academic essentials, empowering them with basic math and language skills.

The LKG curriculum is Hands on learning, which allows children to learn by actively engaging in a task. This type of experiential learning encourages children to develop independence, confidence and initiative.


Our UKG Program culminates in a strong foundation and a Grade school readiness.

The learning is focused and is a culmination of the concepts from abstract to concrete. Language , Math, Motor skills and Aesthetic development has refined from where it started off.Children are ready to move to Grade 1 and are equipped with the skills and confidence required. The UKG curriculum helps your child develop communication, collaboration, creativity and critical-thinking skills.
